From The Governor - Joe Variot
A smart picnic August 28th, 2010 is possible if we have your smart ideas. Please attend the meeting on Sunday July 26th 2010 at 3:00PM to share your ideas and have more input from our members. Please mark your calendars and don't miss this important meeting.

At this time I would like to clarify a statement I made at the Officers reception. I stated that the State and District Officers do not want to be bothered with every petty problem that comes up within each Lodge.  Mr. Coffee stated he was very busy as he has had to close two Lodges and has another Lodge pending investigation for possible closing. I asked if we were on that list and he answered "NO". He also stated that a lot of complaints were being made by our members. He asked if I would handle this problem. Just because you have a problem with someone or something at our Lodge , does not mean that it is a State or National problem. Bring your problems to my attention and I promise to deal with them as fairly as possible. I will not pass the buck.  The buck stops here. Always keep in mind that this is your Lodge.

A big "Thank You" goes out to Scott Daust, Dave Bowen and Paul Skiba for our new main entrance and cloak room. Thank you guys.

Please remember the members of our Lodge family who are having health problems. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
